Privacy policy

This site is run by Just Chillin Snowballs, a snowball stand at 1018 Crain Hwy S, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. When this policy says “we” or “us,” that's who it means. It covers this website, including the Quarter & Crain and Burntown pages.

We only collect what you choose to give us. There are three places on this site where that happens:

• Catering and party requests: your name, phone number, email address, event date, event location, guest count, event type, and anything you write in the notes box.
• Contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message.
• Burntown waitlist: your email address.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs for a short period, which include your IP address and browser type. That happens on essentially every website and we don't use those logs to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or any health information. Please don't put anything like that in a notes or message box.

• Catering and party requests: to quote your event, confirm the details, and show up in the right place at the right time.
• Contact form: to answer your question.
• Burntown waitlist: to tell you when Burntown opens.
• To reply to you by email, phone, or text about the request you sent us.
• To keep a count of how many enquiries the site produces. That count is a number only. It never includes your name, email, phone number, or anything you wrote.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. We use privacy friendly analytics that measure page views and loading speed in aggregate without cookies and without building a profile of individual visitors.

Two exceptions worth naming. The map on our Visit page is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies once that map loads. And our fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so loading a page here doesn't announce your visit to anyone else.

We share your information with the companies that run the plumbing behind this site, never for their own marketing. Each one only ever sees the piece it needs:

Each name above links to that company's own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

Catering requests, contact messages and waitlist signups arrive as emails in our business inbox. We keep catering requests and contact messages for 24 months after your event or your last contact with us, then delete them. Waitlist signups are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired.

Those emails, and any text alerts, sit in our inbox and phone the way any other message does. If you'd like a specific message deleted, ask us and we will.

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop emailing or texting you. Every marketing email we send also has an unsubscribe link, and replying “STOP” to a text works too.

Email justchillinsnowballs26@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. We won't treat you differently for asking. Note that if you ask us to delete a request for an event we haven't catered yet, we may not be able to run the event.

We throw a lot of birthday parties, but this website is meant for adults booking and buying, not for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete it.

Information you send through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and the services listed above hold it under their own security programs. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to the minimum that lets us do the job.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. This version took effect on August 10, 2026.
